Dues and Fees
Rowing is a varsity high school sport that must provide its own funding for necessary equipment and maintenance. This is covered by dues from athletes, alongside fundraising opportunities.
Dues for the 2025-2026 season are TBD and are decided in October. When dues are decided for this year, they will be posted here. Past dues for the entire year were $990, divided into four payments.
Scholarships and Alternative Payment Plans
Fairfax Crew is committed to helping students row, regardless of financial situation. There are alternative payment plans and scholarship options available. Please contact the current board presidents at president@fairfaxcrew.org for a confidential conversation about financial assistance and scholarship options.
The Julia Shew Memorial Scholarship Fund supports high school athletes who need financial assistance to participate in their school's rowing teams. Recent awards have ranged from $500-$600.
Fairfax Crew has its own scholarship for students who need financial assistance. Please contact the current board presidents at president@fairfaxcrew.org for more information.
