Looking to Help Out?  Based on our growing size, we need just a little bit of your time to have a successful season.

 

During the pre-season or during racing season, each family MUST:

 

1)  Sign up for two "volunteer" time slots and to assist the team/regatta (at the River).  

2)  Sign up to bring "Snack" for two Regattas (Saturday).

 

Fear not, most slots average 2-3 hours, but there are some that have a greater time commitment. Some alternatives include:  Course setup, Course take down, Launch drivers (great for those that like to be on the river), Concessions and helping out with the setup and takedown of our Regatta day tent (See Paulette).

 

A little of your time is critical to the success of the overall crew season. 
Note: This requirement is in addition to light fundraising over the school year.

 

Information and Sign-Up Sheets will be available at our General Membership meeting.  

 

What if you cannot complete your commited volunteer slot?  YOU must replace yourself for that slot. You will be provided directory (or listing) so you can reach out and replace yourself.  

 

Please note THE TEAM is fined (by VASRA) $50.00 per missed volunteer slot.  Each family will also bring snacks (twice) during Regatta season. On to a great Season! GO FAIRFAX!
